The wait for Fort Scott football is almost over.
The Tigers will get their first opportunity to line up under the lights Friday night as the preseason jamboree gives players, coaches and fans an early look at the 2026 squad.
While the jamboree won’t count in the standings, it provides an important first test before the regular season begins. Coaches will get a chance to evaluate personnel, rotations and execution in live-action situations.
For Tiger fans, it’s also the first opportunity to see this year’s team on the field — including the return of Fort Scott’s red helmets.
The focus Friday night won’t necessarily be the scoreboard. It’ll be about getting quality reps, staying healthy and taking another step toward Week 1. This years Jamboree will once again be hosted by Louisburg, along with Fort Scott, Ottawa will be making the journey to Wildcat Stadium. After the Red & White Scrimmage last Saturday I know these Tiger players are ready to pop some pads with a different school
Tiger football is almost here.
