Senior quarterback Dredyn Marlow delivered a dynamic performance in Week 2, helping lead the Fort Scott Tigers to a commanding 61–13 road victory over the Parsons Vikings.
Marlow completed 2 of 4 passes for 15 yards and one touchdown, but the Tigers’ QB1 did most of his damage on the ground. He carried the ball nine times for 138 yards and three touchdowns, repeatedly breaking free for explosive plays against the Parsons defense.
During an appearance on Coach’s Corner, Marlow was quick to credit the Tigers’ offensive line for his success. He said the players up front made it easy for him to find running lanes and break loose for several long runs.
Marlow also praised the entire team for maintaining its energy and playing hard from the opening whistle through the final one.
